Impact tool with split anvil

An impact tool with a split anvil assembly includes an inner anvil portion secured inside a housing of the impact tool and an outer anvil portion removably attached to the inner anvil portion and extending outside the housing. The outer anvil portion includes a retractable pin that is biased to an extended position to engage the inner anvil portion to secure the outer anvil portion to the inner anvil portion, and the retractable pin is depressed to a retracted position to allow the outer anvil portion to disengage from the inner anvil portion.
