The invention discloses a lipid marker composition for distinguishing green tea from white tea. The lipid marker composition comprises the following lipid markers: phosphatidyl ethanolamine 36: 6 and monogalactose diacylglycerol 38: 6. The content of the two lipid markers in the green tea is obviously different from the content of the two lipid markers in the white tea. The green tea and the white tea can be effectively distinguished by utilizing the two lipid markers.
