Fatigue assessment of fiber samples

Apparatuses, methods, and related computer programs for assessing fatigue of fiber samples including hair fibers are disclosed. The method comprises the following steps: receiving fatigue test data of a fiber sample for a plurality of loading cycles, wherein the fatigue test data comprises force or displacement-based stress or strain data; for at least a subset of the cycles, determining a load energy based on data from the fatigue test data; and determining an indication of fatigue in the fiber sample based on the loaded energy of at least a subset of the cycles. 公开了用于评估包括毛发纤维的纤维样品的疲劳的设备、方法和相关的计算机程序。该方法包括：对于多个加载循环接收纤维样品的疲劳测试数据，其中疲劳测试数据包括力或基于位移的应力或应变数据；对于循环的至少一个子集，基于来自疲劳测试数据的数据来确定加载能量；和基于该循环的至少一个子集的加载能量来确定纤维样品中的疲劳指示。
