A display device includes: a plurality of pixels disposed on a substrate, where each of the plurality of pixels is composed of a plurality of sub-pixels; a transistor disposed in each of the plurality of sub-pixels; a light emitting element disposed in each of the plurality of sub-pixels, wherein the light emitting element includes a light emitting layer; an encapsulation layer covering the light emitting layer; a color filter and a black matrix corresponding to each of the plurality of sub-pixels; an anode electrode of a light-emitting element connected to the transistor; and a bank defining an opening therein to expose the anode electrode, wherein the black matrix includes a first black matrix and a second black matrix disposed on a side of the first black matrix. The display device is not provided with a polarizer, so that the manufacturing cost of the display device is reduced.
