The invention relates to the technical field of SDN (Software Defined Network) controllers, in particular to a load balancing processing method, device and equipment based on an SDN controller. The method comprises the following steps: acquiring processing capabilities and to-be-processed loads of a standby controller and each first area controller, wherein the first area controller is any one of a plurality of area controllers; based on the processing capability, the to-be-processed load, the preset time length and the preset amount distribution model of the standby controller and each first area controller, determining the target distribution amount of each first area controller at the same time; sending the target allocation quota to the first area controller; receiving a target request from the first zone controller; determining a processing result of the target request; and sending the processing result to the first area controller. According to the technical scheme provided by the invention, the standby
