The method is mainly composed of an overhead line monitor, a collection transponder, a server side program and a user side 3D display program. The overhead line monitor comprises an acceleration sensor, an algorithm chip, a wireless transmission chip and an auxiliary circuit, and is characterized in that an FFT algorithm is loaded in the algorithm chip, frequency spectrums can be extracted from data of the acceleration sensor, then the frequency spectrums are uploaded to a collection transponder through the wireless transmission chip, and then the frequency spectrums are uploaded to a server; a 3D model of the overhead line is stored in the server side, a 3D display program of the user side comprises a program for driving the model to make a 3D animation, and the 3D animation can be driven according to spectrum data; and a user can observe the posture and state change of the overhead line more intuitively.
