The method comprises the following steps: acquiring time delay values between a plurality of sound signals and a preset standard sound signal under the condition that endpoints exist in the plurality of sound signals, and obtaining a first relative position of equipment generating a fault sound source and a microphone array according to the plurality of time delay values and a preset positioning matrix; determining fault feature signals corresponding to the plurality of sound signals according to the spectral kurtosis of the plurality of sound signals; obtaining a delay summation beam forming result corresponding to the fault feature signal, inputting the delay summation beam forming result into a pre-trained fault positioning model, and obtaining a second relative position of the device generating the fault sound source and the microphone array through the fault positioning model; and determinin
