The invention discloses a wave power generation device using a movable push rod to transmit mechanical energy, which comprises a driving gear mounted on one side of a main support through a transmission shaft, the other end of the transmission shaft is connected with a power generator, and a limiting gear is arranged under the driving gear and connected with the main support through a rotating shaft. A connecting rod is arranged on one side of the chain in parallel, a push rod vertically extending to the chain is arranged on the connecting rod, the distances between the two ends of the push rod and the chain are the same, the push rod is in lap joint with a chain connecting pin, and the bottom end of the connecting rod is connected with a floater which moves up and down under the action of buoyancy and sea waves. The connecting rod is driven to push the chain to rotate through the push rod so as to drive the driving gear and the limiting gear to rotate. The wave energy conversion device is simple in structure
