An apatite slurry prepared by re-dispersing secondary particles of apatite substantially completely; and a process for the preparation thereof. The apatite slurry is one comprising apatite particles dispersed in an organic solvent compatible with water and characterized by having such a degree of dispersion that the mean diameter of the apatite particles is 1 'mu'm or below and that any apatite particle having a diameter of 3 'mu'm or above is substantially absent. The process is characterized by feeding the above-specified apatite slurry into an agitating mill and conducting the milling and dispersion up to such a degree of dispersion that any apatite particle having a diameter of 3 'mu'm or above is substantially absent. |
