Zusammenfassung: | The present disclosure also relates to lubricant compositions comprising long branched ethylene copolymers and methods of making the compositions. The composition of the present disclosure may be a composition comprising an oil and an ethylene copolymer having one or more of the following: an MWD of from about 2.0 to about 6.5; a Mw (LS) of from about 30000 g/mol to about 30000 g/mol; a g 'vis of from about 0.5 to about 0.97; an ethylene content of from about 40 wt.% to less than 80 wt.%. The composition has: a shear stability index (30 cycles) of from about 1% to about 60%; and a kinematic viscosity at 100 DEG C of from about 3 cSt to about 25 cSt. Also disclosed is a method of making the composition, the method comprising blending the oil with the copolymer. In addition, novel long chain branched ethylene propylene copolymers and methods of producing such copolymers are also provided.
