Performance optimized task replication and migration

The invention relates to performance optimized task replication and migration. Aspects of the technology relate to methods and systems capable of replicating microarchitecture contextual information when running applications are cloned (e.g., for faster function launch), migrated (e.g., to another core or machine), or persisted to secondary storage.
