Communication adapter

The invention provides a communication adapter which can perform communication even if no power is supplied from an external device. The communication adapter includes: a power storage unit that receives power from an external device and stores the power; a communication unit that receives power from the power storage unit; a control unit capable of communicating with an external management device via the communication unit; a first power supply line that supplies power to the control unit from the external device without passing through the power storage unit; and a second power supply line that supplies power from the power storage unit to the control unit. 本发明提供一种即使从外部装置没有了供电也能够进行通信的通信适配器。通信适配器包括：蓄电部，从外部装置接受供电来进行蓄电；通信部，从所述蓄电部接受供电；控制部，能够经由所述通信部与外部的管理装置进行通信；第一供电线路，从所述外部装置不经由所述蓄电部而对所述控制部进行供电；以及第二供电线路，从所述蓄电部对所述控制部进行供电。
