Zusammenfassung:	The present disclosure relates to an apparatus and method for mounting a generator to an engine. The equipment at least comprises a split charging table, a position adjusting table and a pivoting device. The split-charging table is configured to assemble a tensioner on the generator on the split-charging table to form a generator assembly and to support the generator assembly in an initial state. And the position adjusting table is configured to support the generator assembly in a to-be-assembled state. In the to-be-assembled state, the position of the first bolt hole of the generator is matched with the position of the first matching bolt hole of the engine. And the pivoting device is positioned between the mounting table and the position adjusting table. And the pivoting device is configured to enable the generator assembly to rotate around the pivoting device to be converted from an initial state to a to-be-assembled state, so that the generator assembly is kept on the position adjusting table.
