Zusammenfassung: | Methods and systems for active noise cancellation. In order to improve and adapt the noise cancellation capability of a movable noise generating platform (12) for a city environment (32), the invention proposes an active noise cancellation method in which the noise generating platform (12) records noise data (13) with an array of microphones and sends the noise data (13) to a noise cancellation processing system (24). The noise data (13) is converted into inverse wave sound data (25) which is again converted by the fixed loudspeaker array into sound inverse waves having the potential to cancel or at least reduce noise from the noise generating platform (12). The noise-generating platform (12) may be an aircraft or a ground vehicle (e.g., a high-speed train).
