System and method for producing hot pressed block iron (HBI) containing flux and/or carbonaceous material

A method for producing hot pressed block iron with increased solid carbonaceous material and/or flux includes providing a shaft furnace of a direct reduction plant to reduce iron oxide with a reducing gas; providing a hot briquetting machine to produce hot-pressed block iron; coupling a chute between a) a discharge outlet of the shaft furnace for discharging hot direct reduced iron and b) an inlet of the hot briquetting machine; adding a solid carbonaceous material and/or a fluxing agent to the hot direct reduced iron discharged from the shaft furnace to produce a mixture of the discharged hot direct reduced iron and the solid carbonaceous material and/or fluxing agent, and then feeding the mixture to a hot briquetting machine; and processing in a hot briquetting machine to produce a product of hot pressed iron having an increased content of solid carbonaceous material and/or an increased content of flux of greater than about 3% by weight. 一种用于生产具有增加的固体碳质材料和/或助熔剂的热压块铁的方法包括：提供直接还原设备的竖炉以利用还原性气体还原氧化铁；提供热压块机以生产热压
