Specifically, an original infrared image is a single-channel image, two spatial domain enhancement methods are selected to enhance the original infrared image, a three-channel image formed by the original infrared image and the two enhanced images is the enhanced image, one spatial domain enhancement method is an improved CLAHE mode, and the other spatial domain enhancement method is an improved CLAHE mode. And the problems of blocking effect, unnatural vision and the like of the traditional CLAHE algorithm can be effectively avoided. In order to achieve a better effect, the image with the best quality can be further selected from the quality of the fused image and the quality of the two enhanced images to serve as a final enhanced image by using an image quality evaluation index.
