Zusammenfassung:The invention discloses a fatty acid desaturase gene and application of the fatty acid desaturase gene in detection and cultivation of oil tea with high linolenic acid content. The CDS sequence of the gene is shown as any one of SEQ ID No: 3-5. The expression level is positively correlated with the linolenic acid content of the camellia oleifera seed kernels. The basic groups corresponding to the 830 position of the CDS sequence of the CoFAD7 by the two allelic variations are G and G/A respectively. Firstly, camellia oleifera cDNA is used as a template, a primer pair SEQ ID No: 8 and SEQ ID No: 9 is used for PCR amplification, and through Sanger sequencing detection, identification of different allelic variations of the CoFAD7 gene in camellia oleifera germplasm resources and breeding offspring can be conveniently and effectively achieved.
