Zusammenfassung: | The invention discloses an isothiocyano trans-cyclohexyl biphenyl liquid crystal compound as well as a preparation method and application thereof, the liquid crystal compound has a structure as shown in a structural formula (I): # imgabs0 #, R1 is selected from alkyl containing 1-10 carbon atoms or alkyl containing alkenyl; and X1-X8 are respectively and independently selected from-H,-CH3,-F or-Cl. The liquid crystal compound is low in dielectric loss, relatively small in rotary viscosity and wide in nematic phase liquid crystal phase state temperature range. After the high-resistivity liquid crystal component is obtained through recrystallization and electric field adsorption purification and refinement, the liquid crystal component has a relatively low dielectric loss effect under high frequency (4-40GHz), and can be used as a main component of a nematic phase mixed liquid crystal material with high dielectric anisotropy and low dielectric loss for a microwave device.
