Zusammenfassung:The proposed invention relates to a fuel cell system (100) for providing electrical energy. The fuel cell system (100) comprises a blower (101) for conveying an anode gas, a motion sensor (103) for determining a measurement of a motion of an impeller of the blower (101), and a controller (105). The control unit (105) is configured to assign a state of a composition of matter in an anode circuit of the fuel cell system (100) to a measured value of the blower (101) using a predefined assignment scheme, and to assign the state of the composition of matter in the anode circuit of the fuel cell system (100) to the measured value of the blower (101).
