The object recognizer estimates an object by causing a plurality of classifiers to sequentially classify the object developed in an image. The plurality of classifiers comprise a classifier at the uppermost layer and a plurality of classifiers at the lower layer. The plurality of lower-level classifiers include the lowermost-level classifier whose lower-level category is the determination information of the object.
