Zusammenfassung: | The invention discloses pig iron for nodular cast iron and a smelting method thereof, and the method comprises the following steps: taking semisteel produced by a titanium slag electric furnace as a raw material, slagging, alloying and recarburizing to obtain the pig iron for nodular cast iron, wherein the final slag at the end of smelting comprises the following components in percentage by mass: 32-36% of CaO; 15%-18% of SiO2; 2%-5% of Al2O3; 1%-3% of MgO; 33% to 38% of CaF2; and 5%-9% of S. According to the method, the content of S and the content of Al in the pig iron for nodular cast iron can be controlled to be lower, so that higher requirements are met, the slag system has the advantages of being low in melting point, wide in low-melting-point area and the like, the slag system is suitable for lower recarburization temperature, and therefore power consumption can be reduced.
