The lead storage battery management system is provided with: a lead storage battery system (BS) provided with a bipolar lead storage battery (B); and a management/assistance device (4) that manages the lead storage battery system (BS), the management/assistance device (4) being provided with: a recording unit (42) that records operation history information of the bipolar lead storage battery (B); and a state determination unit (43) that determines whether or not replacement of the bipolar lead storage battery (B) is necessary.
