The method comprises the steps that the compressor operation frequency and the outer fan rotation speed of the air conditioner are obtained; according to whether the running frequency of the compressor and the rotating speed of the outer fan meet a preset relation or not, whether the compressor and the outer fan have the risk of generating beat vibration noise or not is judged; and if it is judged that the compressor and the outer fan have the risk of generating the beat vibration noise, the rotating speed of the outer fan is corrected according to the outdoor environment temperature, so that resonance generated by the compressor and the outer fan is avoided. According to the scheme, the resonance point of the rotation speed and the compressor operation frequency can be effectively staggered by adjusting the rotation speed of the outdoor unit under the condition that the compressor operation
