Methods of operating memory systems with input/output extenders and associated systems and devices

Methods of operating a memory system having an input/output extender, and associated systems and devices, are disclosed herein. In one embodiment, a method includes receiving a multi-channel state read command at a first interface of an input/output expander via a controller-side communication channel.
