Zusammenfassung:	The invention relates to a radio positioning system, a method for a radio positioning system and a security system. A radio positioning system (10) includes a first radio unit (12), a second radio unit (14), a reference radio unit (16), and a test device (26) coupled to the radio positioning system (10). The radio positioning system (10) is configured to determine a first defined characteristic (20) between the first radio unit (12) and the second radio unit (14) using radio positioning and to determine a second defined characteristic (22, 22 ') between the first radio unit (12) and the reference radio unit (16) using radio positioning. The second defined characteristic (22, 22 ') is continuously variable according to a pattern (24) known to the test device (26), where the test device (26) is configured to generate an acknowledgement of the first defined characteristic (20) only if the radio positioning system (10) detects a change in the second defined characteristic (22, 22') according to the pattern (24).
