The invention provides a titanium plate production method. The production method comprises the following steps: directly rolling sponge titanium into a titanium plate, and carrying out vacuum welding and sealing on a high-purity sponge titanium block by using a titanium sheath to prepare a titanium blank; and the titanium blank is subjected to first heating treatment, hot rolling treatment and second heating treatment, and the titanium plate is obtained. According to the method, high-purity sponge titanium is selected to be directly rolled into the titanium plate, smelting is not needed, and the smelting defects such as structure nonuniformity and composition segregation in the smelting process are avoided.
