Record management in time series database

The invention relates to record management in a time series database. Computer-implemented methods, systems, and computer program products for record management in a time series database (TSDB) are disclosed. In a computer-implemented method for record management in TSDB, time series records may be obtained by one or more processing units from a distributed source. The records may be divided by one or more processing units into different record groups based on the timestamp of each record. The records in each record group may be normalized into normalized records by one or more processing units.
