The method comprises the following steps that S1, the laterite-nickel ore acid leaching residues, an adjusting material, a fluxing material and a reducing agent are mixed and pressed, and a prefabricated product is obtained; s2, roasting the prefabricated product to obtain hot cinder and hot flue gas, and using the hot flue gas to prepare acid; s3, magnetic separation is carried out on the hot cinder, and a refined iron material and tailings are obtained; and S4, mixing the tailings, the active material and the excitation material, and grinding to obtain the active material.
