The method comprises the following steps: acquiring collocation group PG information and object storage device OSD information of a storage pool of a Ceph cluster; selecting a to-be-balanced collating group PG from the storage pool; obtaining the residual weight of each object storage device OSD in the storage pool according to the collocation group PG information and the object storage device OSD information; based on a copy placement rule and the residual weights of all the object storage devices OSD, allocating the to-be-balanced arrangement group PG to a plurality of object storage devices OSD meeting a preset condition to obtain a balanced arrangement group PG; updating collocation group PG information and object storage device OSD information; and repeating the above steps until all the collating groups PG are adjusted to be balanced.
