The invention provides a vehicle-mounted operating system anomaly detection method and device, electronic equipment and a storage medium, and the method comprises the steps: controlling a basic input/output system to start a virtual machine monitor when a system on chip is detected to be started, enabling the virtual machine monitor to start a privileged virtual machine, and enabling the privileged virtual machine to start a plurality of non-privileged virtual machines; starting the plurality of non-privileged virtual machines from the privileged virtual machine, and determining the non-privileged virtual machine of which the privileged virtual machine fails to start; and controlling the privileged virtual machine to send the starting failure related information of the non-privileged virtual machine which fails to start to a microprogrammed control unit (MCU), so that the microprogrammed control unit stores the received starting failure related information as freezing data, and performs detection and analysis
