Zusammenfassung: | The invention discloses a citrus CsGATA12 gene and a method for enhancing citrus canker resistance thereof, and relates to the technical field of plant disease-resistant molecular breeding, the nucleotide sequence of the citrus CsGATA12 gene is as shown in SEQ ID NO: 1; the method specifically comprises the following steps: (1) cloning a VIGS fragment of a citrus CsGATA12 gene; (2) constructing an expression vector of the VIGS; and (3) transforming the citrus by the VIGS vector to obtain a citrus CsGATA12 gene silenced VIGS plant. The citrus CsGATA12 gene is obtained through cloning for the first time, the transcriptional level of the citrus CsGATA12 is silenced and reduced through VIGS, the citrus canker resistance is greatly enhanced, the canker attack degree is remarkably reduced, the function of CsGATA12 in citrus canker susceptibility resistance is verified, and the CsGATA12 has great application value in citrus canker resistance breeding.
