The method comprises the following steps: acquiring a visible light image of a target object, wherein the target object is provided with a preset marking object; obtaining an infrared image of the target object; based on a preset feature extraction algorithm, determining a first position corresponding to the marked object in the infrared image; based on a preset target matching algorithm, determining a second position corresponding to the marked object in the visible light image; and according to the first position and the second position, based on a preset image fusion algorithm, fusing the visible light image and the infrared image to obtain a target image. According to the technical scheme of the embodiment of the invention, the complexity of fusion of the visible light image and the infrared image is reduced, the invention further provides a scheme for splicing the
