The chemical structural general formula of the benzocyclobutene-containing unsaturated ester imide monomer is # imgabs0, wherein R1 is # imgabs1 # imgabs2 #, and R2 is H, alkyl and aromatic hydrocarbon. The monomer is dissolved in most organic solvents, has excellent processability and can be directly heated, melted, cured and molded or prepared into a polyimide film through a tape casting method, and a polyimide material obtained after curing has excellent thermal stability, high transparency and excellent dielectric property.
