Zusammenfassung:	A vertical type metal separator comprises a machine shell, a winding drum, an electrostatic cylinder and a separation magnetic plate. The machine shell is a hollow box body, a feeding port is formed in the top of the machine shell, a winding drum is arranged at the bottom of the feeding port, first comb teeth are arranged on the winding drum, the electrostatic cylinder is arranged on one side of the winding drum, a tooth-shaped groove is formed in one side of the electrostatic cylinder, and the first comb teeth are meshed with the tooth-shaped groove to form a feeding channel.
