System and method for monitoring pedestrians under lifting arm of tower crane

The invention relates to a monitoring system for pedestrians under a crane jib, and the system comprises a multi-data source video acquisition module which is used for collecting a field video under the crane jib in real time; the image preprocessing module is used for preprocessing the collected on-site video; the intelligent video analysis module is used for processing the video through a YOLOv5-medium model to obtain a detection target pedestrian; and the remote monitoring end is used as hardware equipment for establishing the YOLOv5-medium model and is used for monitoring the site condition under the lifting arm of the tower crane in real time.
