Zusammenfassung: | The invention discloses a method for rapidly detecting single nucleotide polymorphism of a sheep FecB (also being BMPR1B) gene by using KASP and application of the method. According to the present invention, sheep whole genome DNA is adopted as a template, accurate typing is performed on an SNP site derived from a sheep FecB gene through a KASP method, association analysis discovers that different genotypes of the SNP site are significantly related to the litter size trait of a certain birth of sheep, and the molecular marker exists as the early selection for improving the breeding trait of the sheep; by rapidly and accurately detecting the SNP marker related to the lambing number character of the sheep, a sheep breeding dominant genetic resource group can be rapidly established, so that the marker-assisted selection breeding process of the sheep breeding character is accelerated.
