POLARIZING PLATE AND IMAGE DISPLAY DEVICE USING SAME

Provided is a polarizing plate which is thin, has a through-hole, is capable of suppressing bubbles when the through-hole is filled with an adhesive, has excellent reliability in a high-temperature and high-humidity environment, and is capable of suppressing conduction failures when applied to an image display device. A polarizing plate according to an embodiment of the present invention comprises: a polarizer; a first protective layer disposed on one side of the polarizer and including a resin film and a hard coat layer formed on the opposite side of the resin film from the polarizer; a second protective layer disposed on the other side of the polarizer; and an adhesive layer provided on a side of the second protective layer opposite to the polarizer.
