System and method for generating droplets and performing digital analysis

The present disclosure provides devices, methods, and systems for generating a plurality of droplets within a collection container at very high rates (e.g., at least 1 million droplets per minute, etc.), each of the plurality of droplets including an aqueous mixture for digital analysis, where the plurality of droplets are stabilized in place within the region of the collection container upon generation.
