This terminal is provided with automatic or manually set reading means for reading the bets and means for issuing a betting slip/receipt; means being provided for communication via modem using a telephone line with a central processing unit and/or with satellite units connected to a central processing unit, the arrangement being such that two-way dialogue is possible between each terminal and the central processing unit. |
