Zusammenfassung:	The invention relates to a method for forming a molded fibrous product. In the method, a layer (10) is formed from a foam comprising fibers, water, air and foaming chemicals through a mold pair (11) of molds (12, 13). Furthermore, in the method, foam is fed between the moulds (12, 13), and the mould pair (11) is closed and opened. Foam is fed via one of the dies (12, 13) while the pair of dies (11) is sealed from its sides.
