The invention relates to a method for producing niobium oxide by using niobium, tantalum and iron, which comprises the following steps: crushing and ball-milling a niobium, tantalum and iron alloy material, then carrying out aerobic calcination, separating antimony and tungsten by alkaline leaching, extracting and separating copper and iron by using dilute acid, and leaching tantalum and niobium by using mixed acid.
