The image reproduction apparatus includes: a setting unit configured to set whether to perform filtering reproduction for reproducing an image by performing filtering for selecting only an image consistent with specific attribute information or performing reproduction without performing filtering at the time of performing reproduction of the image stored in a storage unit; and a control unit configured to control reproduction of the image stored in the storage unit based on the setting of the setting unit.
