The method comprises the steps that in the running process of the sweeper, a target image of a to-be-swept area of the sweeper at the current moment and the current speed of the sweeper are acquired; inputting the target image into a detection model to obtain a target garbage amount of the to-be-cleaned area; according to the current vehicle speed and the target garbage amount of the to-be-swept area, the target rotating speed of the sweeper is determined; and under the condition that the sweeper runs to the to-be-swept area, an upper part of the sweeper is controlled to run at the target rotating speed.
