The preparation method comprises the following steps: firstly, uniformly mixing water, benzyl secondary amine, zinc oxide and a surfactant, then adding carbon disulfide into the mixed solution to react, and finally filtering and drying the reactant to obtain the benzyl-containing zinc aminothioformate series compound. The compound can replace zinc diethyldithiocarbamate and zinc di-n-butyl dithiocarbamate in rubber application, can reduce the generation of nitrosamine substances harmful to human bodies in the rubber product processing process, is a green rubber auxiliary, and has wide application prospects in the rubber industry.
