Edge services using network interface cards with processing units

An example method includes receiving resource availability values from a plurality of network interface cards (NICs); determining a data path of a data packet of a flow from a source NIC to a destination NIC via a NIC group comprising at least one NIC transmitted using a protocol, where: the plurality of NIC includes the source NIC, the destination NIC, and the NIC group, and determining the data path includes selecting the NIC group based on a resource availability value; and transmitting data path data to each of the source NIC and the NIC group such that each of the source NIC and the NIC group identifies a data packet of the flow using an identifier of the protocol and transmits the data packet of the flow from the source NIC to the destination NIC via the data path. 示例方法包括：从多个网络接口卡(NIC)接收资源可用性值；确定使用协议传输的经由包括至少一个NIC的NIC组从源NIC到目的地NIC的流的数据分组的数据路径，其中：多个NIC包括源NIC、目的地NIC和NIC组，并且确定数据路径包括基于资源可用性值来选择NIC组；以及向源NIC和NIC组中的每个NIC发送数据路径数据，以使源NIC和NIC组中的每个NIC使用协议的标识符来标识流的数据分组并且经由数据路径将流的数据分组从源NIC发送到目的地NIC。
