A solar cell (1) is a back surface junction type solar cell, and is provided with a semiconductor substrate (11), first semiconductor layers (25, 23) laminated in a first region (7) that is a part of the back surface side of the semiconductor substrate (11), and second semiconductor layers (35, 33) laminated in a second region (8) that is another part of the back surface side of the semiconductor substrate (11).
