One or more embodiments of the invention provide an application program deployment method and device. The method comprises the steps of obtaining a container creation request for a target application program; wherein the program code corresponding to the target application program comprises a plurality of functions; in response to the container creation request, creating a WASM-based security container for the target application program on the basis of a Guest operating system kernel corresponding to the target application program and obtained by performing virtualization on a Host operating system kernel; wherein the security container takes a Guest operating system kernel as an independent operating system kernel; the security container comprises a sandbox operation environment constructed based on a WASM linear memory structure; and deploying a program code corresponding to a target application program to a security container, and respectively distributing isolated memory areas for a plurality of functions
