Filter unit for filtering particles and filter cage for filter unit

The invention discloses a filter unit and a filter cage. The filter unit comprises a filter chamber and the filter cage. The filter chamber includes opposing first and second end walls, a sidewall therebetween, and an opening in the second end wall. The filter cage is rotatable in the filter unit and includes a side wall and an opening at a first end of the filter cage, the side wall including a filter media. The filter cage is removable through an opening in the filter chamber. The filter chamber further comprises an inlet for feeding a feed liquid into the filter cage via the opening and an outlet for the filtered liquid. The filter unit also includes a drive shaft for rotating the filter cage. And the connecting piece in the filtering chamber forms rotary sealing and is detachably connected with the filtering cage.
