Zusammenfassung:Embodiments of replacing a heart valve are disclosed. Embodiments may include a collapsible and expandable frame including rows of cells. The frame may include a plurality of axial connection portions extending between a top end and a bottom end of the unit, where each axial connection portion is shaped to bend to accommodate temporary changes in unit height during non-uniform compression of the replacement heart valve. Frames with these features are advantageous when advancing a replacement heart valve through a funnel-shaped compression tool. The axial connection portion is sufficiently flexible to accommodate changes in frame shape during compression while also being sufficiently resilient to enhance the structural integrity of the frame in a fully deployed state.
