Zusammenfassung: | The invention relates to a system and method for efficient decoding of N-dimensional error correction codes. Various embodiments relate to systems and methods for maintaining the integrity and reliability of data in an SSD device using error correction coding. According to a particular aspect, for a data frame having an ECC code including two or more subcodes, when one subdecoder is not in use, the subdecoder may be used to initiate decoding of another frame. By interleaving and alternating the frames between sub-decoders, two or more frames can be decoded simultaneously in an efficient manner. This may be significantly extended to more subcodes (i.e., a dimension greater than two).
